TO DETERMINE IF A ROVER'S KID IS FOR YOU...
Each of the Rover's Kids that are accepted into our Family have our promise that they will go to the very best home that matches their specific needs and personality as well as the needs of the new family. All of the Kids require two walks a day, and other fun outings and exercise in the fresh air, no exceptions. All of the Kids need grass to roll in, eat, run on, and sun on. The Kids have overcome many different difficulties and have learned that being a dog in a loving social family is the most wonderful thing that has happened to them. They can be who they are, who they were meant to be. They can grow and expand their horizons. They become social butterflies and like the company of both 2 and 4 legged beings. They become healthy by eating natural real foods which is required to be continued - they are live beings that need real food just like you. They want to be with you, go with you, be an integral part of your family.
We prefer homes where someone is home all the time or at least part time or your Kid goes with you everywhere. We prefer a secure fenced yard with real grass, no dog door, no unfenced pool, no dog parks. Apartments are on a case by case determination.
(We have once a month meet & greet events or contact us for a home visit!)
