IT IS ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!
We love our kids and want the best forever placement and easiest transition to their new home. We try to expose them to a variety of situations to help them be well-rounded. To that end we take approximately three to six months to rehabilitate, train and facilitate their health with proper nutrition and exercise as well as spay/neuter, vaccinate, test and microchip each one.
They are exposed to what we consider basic training: leash exposure - walk twice a day; crate exposure for going to the vet or the groomer; fluffy bed use; potty trained; car ride or road trip exposure; meet and greet at the bank, Home Depot and Starbucks! They visit the vet and the groomer. They learn to take weekly showers with you, baths with the hose, baths in an outside or inside tub as well as brushing their teeth.
After placement if there are any issues we offer assistance or suggestions on how to mitigate the learning curve of the new family introduction. We always support our kids!
Additionally, we are always available for our Kids and their new siblings for babysitting while you travel if needed. They love to come back and see old friends that are still here and meet some new friends and play with their favorite toys too!
It is like going to summer camp! or grandma's house!
